From the Desk of the Secretary
Dear Friends,
It is my honour to present an overview of the activities and achievements of NABARUPA TRUST, established on 13th June 2023. Guided by the motto “Be the change that you wish to see in the world,” the Trust has remained committed to youth empowerment, social welfare, and community development.
Our primary focus has been to prepare the youth, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to build stable and independent livelihoods. We have placed special emphasis on orphans and children without family support, who, upon reaching 18 years of age, are no longer protected under the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015, and often face serious survival challenges. In 2025, NABARUPA TRUST intensified its efforts to support such young adults by providing them with skill development opportunities, structured guidance, and a secure environment to transition into responsible and self-reliant citizens.
Through our Youth Employability Programme, more than 150 young individuals across India have become economically independent, following training and job placement facilitated by the Trust.
In addition to youth development, the Trust has successfully organised and implemented a number of welfare activities, including:
- Medical Camps
- Clothing Distribution
- Teaching and Learning Camps
- Blanket and Essential Item Distribution
- Marriage Support for Underprivileged Girls
- Save Little Child Initiative
- Eye Care Camps
- Nutritional Support (Protein Powder Distribution)
- Final Relief Distribution Drives
- Monthly Food Distribution Programmes
- Extensive Medical Assistance
Furthermore, NABARUPA TRUST continues to extend its services to children, youth, women, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities, while expanding its reach to rural and underdeveloped regions.
On behalf of NABARUPA TRUST, I convey my sincere gratitude to our members, volunteers, and well-wishers for their unwavering dedication. We also acknowledge the role of government agencies, partners, and potential funding bodies, whose continued support and cooperation are essential to sustain and scale our mission of serving the vulnerable and underprivileged sections of society.
We look forward to strengthening our initiatives further with your continued encouragement and collaboration.
With regards,
Rathin Sengupta (Secretary)
NABARUPA TRUST
